In December 2021 Artcurial in Marrakech held the auction Majorelle & his Contemporaries, which included the work Porteuse D'Eau, Ca 1897 by Friedrich Goldscheider. The »bidding war« ended at MAD 20,800.00 (€ 1,966.43), 60% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Friedrich Goldscheider have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Gardien Du Harema Polychrome Terracotta Of The Harem Keeper By Friedrich Goldscheider (1845-1897), Austrian School, Signed, Stamped And Numbered in November 2011 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Artcurial in Marrakesch die Auktion Majorelle & his Contemporaries durch, in der auch die Arbeit Porteuse D'Eau, Ca 1897 von Friedrich Goldscheider zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von MAD 20.800,00 (€ 1.966,43) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Friedrich Goldscheider auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Gardien Du Harema Polychrome Terracotta Of The Harem Keeper By Friedrich Goldscheider (1845-1897), Austrian School, Signed, Stamped And Numbered im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250,00.
