Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Excursions au Mont Blanc by Frederic Hugo d'Alesi for EUR 200.00. This price was achieved in the auction L'âge d'or du rail - Souvenirs de la Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-lits at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 700.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederic Hugo d'Alesi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hyères in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,498.90).

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion L'âge d'or du rail - Souvenirs de la Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-lits bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederic Hugo d'Alesi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hyères im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.498,90).
