Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work View Over the Red-Roofed Farmhouse Beneath the Eucalyptus by the Dairy, Old Arroyo Seco, South Pasadena, California by Franz Arthur Bischoff for USD 2,040.00 (€ 1,847.83). This price was achieved in the auction California Art at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Arthur Bischoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Mixed Bouquet Of Roses in November 2004 with an auction result of USD 321,100.00 (€ 242,175.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit View Over the Red-Roofed Farmhouse Beneath the Eucalyptus by the Dairy, Old Arroyo Seco, South Pasadena, California von Franz Arthur Bischoff für USD 2.040,00 (€ 1.847,83) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Arthur Bischoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Mixed Bouquet Of Roses im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 321.100,00 (€ 242.175,13).
