Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mountain Peaks by Franz Arthur Bischoff was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Edinburgh in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,400.00 (€ 5,867.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Arthur Bischoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Mixed Bouquet Of Roses in November 2004 with an auction result of USD 321,100.00 (€ 242,175.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mountain Peaks von Franz Arthur Bischoff wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Edinburgh versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.400,00 (€ 5.867,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Arthur Bischoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Mixed Bouquet Of Roses im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 321.100,00 (€ 242.175,13).
