Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Green Landscape sight 9 1/2 x 14 1/2 in. framed 16 3/4 x 21 3/4 in. by Franz Arthur Bischoff was sold in the California and Western Art Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. The price achieved of USD 2,432.00 (€ 2,229.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Arthur Bischoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Mixed Bouquet Of Roses in November 2004 with an auction result of USD 321,100.00 (€ 242,175.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Green Landscape sight 9 1/2 x 14 1/2 in. framed 16 3/4 x 21 3/4 in. von Franz Arthur Bischoff wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion California and Western Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.432,00 (€ 2.229,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Arthur Bischoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Mixed Bouquet Of Roses im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 321.100,00 (€ 242.175,13).
