Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Franz Arthur Bischoff achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Edinburgh in November this year. In the California Art auction, the work Gnarled Old Pine and Spring Flora sold for USD 70,350.00 (€ 64,493.95) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franz Arthur Bischoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Mixed Bouquet Of Roses, which sold at auction in November 2004 for USD 321,100.00 (€ 242,175.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Franz Arthur Bischoff erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Edinburgh einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion California Art wurde die Arbeit Gnarled Old Pine and Spring Flora für USD 70.350,00 (€ 64.493,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Franz Arthur Bischoff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Mixed Bouquet Of Roses beobachtet, die im November 2004 für USD 321.100,00 (€ 242.175,13) versteigert wurde.
