In the California Art auction, the work Gnarled Old Pine and Spring Flora sold for USD 70,350.00 (€ 64,493.95) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franz Arthur Bischoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Mixed Bouquet Of Roses, which sold at auction in November 2004 for USD 321,100.00 (€ 242,175.13).
