Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work California Woodland by Franz Arthur Bischoff for USD 28,160.00 (€ 25,980.26). This price was achieved in the auction California Art at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Franz Arthur Bischoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Mixed Bouquet Of Roses in November 2004 with an auction result of USD 321,100.00 (€ 242,175.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit California Woodland von Franz Arthur Bischoff für USD 28.160,00 (€ 25.980,26) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franz Arthur Bischoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Mixed Bouquet Of Roses im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 321.100,00 (€ 242.175,13).
