In August this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California Art, which included the work Backyard Color by Franz Arthur Bischoff. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,400.00 (€ 5,904.60), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Arthur Bischoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Mixed Bouquet Of Roses in November 2004 with an auction result of USD 321,100.00 (€ 242,175.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im August diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Backyard Color von Franz Arthur Bischoff zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.400,00 (€ 5.904,60) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Arthur Bischoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Mixed Bouquet Of Roses im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 321.100,00 (€ 242.175,13).
