Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Frank Horvat could be acquired at Il Ponte in July 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fotografia auction, the work Portraits of trees 1979 changed hands for EUR 800.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 850.00 – 950.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Horvat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Givenchy Hat (A), Jardin Des Modes, Paris -1958 in November 2014 with an auction result of EUR 26,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Frank Horvat konnte im Juli 2020 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fotografia wechselte die Arbeit Portraits of trees 1979 für EUR 800,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 850,00 – 950,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Horvat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Givenchy Hat (A), Jardin Des Modes, Paris -1958 im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.000,00.
