Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Singe Alternatif SIV by François-Xavier Lalanne was auctioned at Christies in London in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,008,000.00 (€ 1,173,138.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François-Xavier Lalanne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'RHINOCRÉTAIRE I', PIÈCE UNIQUE, 1964 in October this year with an auction result of EUR 18,335,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Singe Alternatif SIV von François-Xavier Lalanne kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.008.000,00 (€ 1.173.138,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François-Xavier Lalanne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'RHINOCRÉTAIRE I', PIÈCE UNIQUE, 1964 im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.335.000,00.
