The work 10 lignes au hasard - 1975 by François Morellet was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in December this year. It achieved a price of EUR 39,360.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François Morellet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French 2 Trames De Tirets 0° 90° in March 2010 with an auction result of EUR 432,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 31 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit 10 lignes au hasard - 1975 von François Morellet wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 39.360,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François Morellet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French 2 Trames De Tirets 0° 90° im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 432.750,00.
