Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Prisonnier by François-Marius Granet was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in September 2018. The price achieved of EUR 1,690.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François-Marius Granet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Promenade Du Pape Pie Vii Dans Les Jardins Du Quirinal in March 2007 with an auction result of EUR 288,000.00.

Die Arbeit Le Prisonnier von François-Marius Granet kam im September 2018 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.690,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François-Marius Granet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Promenade Du Pape Pie Vii Dans Les Jardins Du Quirinal im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 288.000,00.
