This artwork by François-Marius Granet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2016. In the Old Master Drawings and British Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work Interior of the Camposanto, Pisa with a group of monks: the north corridor with frescoes by Piero di Puccio and Benozzo Gozzoli sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,230.17) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François-Marius Granet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Promenade Du Pape Pie Vii Dans Les Jardins Du Quirinal in March 2007 with an auction result of EUR 288,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von François-Marius Granet erzielte im Dezember 2016 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
