In September 2020 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & XIXth Century Art, which included the work Vue D'Un Port Anglais by François Bonvin. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,000.00 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François Bonvin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'écolier in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 169,250.00 (€ 203,504.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im September 2020 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & XIXth Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vue D'Un Port Anglais von François Bonvin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.000,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François Bonvin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'écolier im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 169.250,00 (€ 203.504,06).
