It achieved a price of EUR 7,250.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 45 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François Bonvin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'écolier in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 169,250.00 (€ 203,504.06).

Die Arbeit Nature morte au chaudron en cuivre et poissons von François Bonvin kam im Juni 2018 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 7.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François Bonvin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'écolier im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 169.250,00 (€ 203.504,06).
