Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Veillée. by François Bonvin was auctioned at Grisebach in June 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 22,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 18,000.00 – 24,000.00. Admittedly, works by François Bonvin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'écolier in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 169,250.00 (€ 203,504.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Veillée. von François Bonvin kam im Juni 2021 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 22.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 18.000,00 – 24.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François Bonvin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'écolier im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 169.250,00 (€ 203.504,06).
