Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Horses In The Fields by Floris Jespers for EUR 1,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Floris Jespers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Jewish Girl in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 275,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Horses In The Fields von Floris Jespers für EUR 1.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Floris Jespers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Jewish Girl im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 275.000,00.
