A top price for Filippo Indoni - as previously expected
The work The River Crossing by Filippo Indoni was sold in the 19th Century European Art Including Spanish Pictures auction at Christies in London in November 2004. The price achieved of GBP 14,340.00 (€ 20,628.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The River Crossing is the most expensive artwork by Filippo Indoni that we have observed at auctions so far.
