Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Nel Bosco by Filippo Carcano was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in June 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Filippo Carcano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Una Passeggiata Amorosa in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 45,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Nel Bosco von Filippo Carcano im Juni 2011 bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 3.500,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Filippo Carcano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Una Passeggiata Amorosa im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.850,00.
