Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work The Night of Victory by Feng Zikai. The price achieved of HKD 163,800.00 (€ 18,953.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Zikai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pleasures of Life in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 11,500,000.00 (€ 1,238,149.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Night of Victory von Feng Zikai zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 163.800,00 (€ 18.953,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Zikai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pleasures of Life im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.500.000,00 (€ 1.238.149,27).
