Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunrise by Feng Zikai was sold in the Chinese Paintings-The Online sale auction at Bonhams in September this year. The price achieved of HKD 15,360.00 (€ 1,853.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Zikai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pleasures of Life in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 11,500,000.00 (€ 1,238,149.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sunrise von Feng Zikai wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Chinese Paintings-The Online sale bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 15.360,00 (€ 1.853,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Zikai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pleasures of Life im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.500.000,00 (€ 1.238.149,27).
