This artwork by Feng Zikai achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in December this year. In the Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings auction, the work Autumn Moon sold for HKD 378,000.00 (€ 43,738.93) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Zikai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pleasures of Life in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 11,500,000.00 (€ 1,238,149.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 89 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Feng Zikai erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings wurde die Arbeit Autumn Moon für HKD 378.000,00 (€ 43.738,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Zikai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pleasures of Life im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.500.000,00 (€ 1.238.149,27).
