Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Un soir sur la Loire by Félix Vallotton was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in October this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 882,000.00 (€ 1,012,781.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600,000.00 – 900,000.00. Admittedly, works by Félix Vallotton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cinq heures in October this year with an auction result of GBP 3,670,000.00 (€ 4,214,179.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Un soir sur la Loire von Félix Vallotton kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 882.000,00 (€ 1.012.781,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600.000,00 – 900.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Félix Vallotton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cinq heures im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.670.000,00 (€ 4.214.179,60).
