Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Fillettes au Bois de Boulogne ou Le Jardin by Félix Vallotton for EUR 63,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction La Collection Sam Josefowitz: Vente du jour at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 90,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Félix Vallotton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cinq heures in October this year with an auction result of GBP 3,670,000.00 (€ 4,214,179.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fillettes au Bois de Boulogne ou Le Jardin von Félix Vallotton für EUR 63.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion La Collection Sam Josefowitz: Vente du jour bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 90.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Félix Vallotton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cinq heures im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.670.000,00 (€ 4.214.179,60).
