This artwork by Félix Labisse achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2007. In the The Art of the Surreal auction, the work Histoire Naturelle sold for GBP 66,000.00 (€ 97,842.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 24,000.00. This high result makes Histoire Naturelle the most expensive artwork by Félix Labisse that we have observed at auctions so far.
