Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 20.6.2002 by Fang Lijun was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 1,008,000.00 (€ 106,322.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Lijun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Series 2 No. 4 in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 59,480,000.00 (€ 6,123,639.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 20.6.2002 von Fang Lijun kam im Dezember 2020 bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.008.000,00 (€ 106.322,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Lijun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Series 2 No. 4 im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 59.480.000,00 (€ 6.123.639,27).
