Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Arhat Riding On Deer by Yang Fan for HKD 74,750.00 (€ 7,093.39). This price was achieved in the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings (I) at POLY in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Fan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Enlightment in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 828,000.00 (€ 77,009.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Arhat Riding On Deer von Yang Fan für HKD 74.750,00 (€ 7.093,39) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings (I) bei POLY in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Fan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Enlightment im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 828.000,00 (€ 77.009,37).
