This artwork by Fabio Mauri achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in May 2008. In the Post War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Schermo con targhe sold for EUR 58,160.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fabio Mauri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Schermo Imbottito Medio (Ii Generazione) "Una Tasca Di Cinema" , which sold at auction in October 2016 for GBP 125,000.00 (€ 139,253.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fabio Mauri erzielte im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Schermo con targhe für EUR 58.160,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fabio Mauri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Schermo Imbottito Medio (Ii Generazione) "Una Tasca Di Cinema" beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für GBP 125.000,00 (€ 139.253,79) versteigert wurde.
