Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bernadette, Ensemble Lanvin, Annabelle, Paris, 1966 by F.C. Gundlach was sold in the Fashion Photographs from the Susanne von Meiss collection auction at Christies in Paris in May last year. The price achieved of EUR 3,528.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by F.C. Gundlach - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Brigitte Bauer, Athènes, 1966, which sold at auction in May last year for EUR 8,820.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bernadette, Ensemble Lanvin, Annabelle, Paris, 1966 von F.C. Gundlach wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fashion Photographs from the Susanne von Meiss collection bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.528,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von F.C. Gundlach mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Brigitte Bauer, Athènes, 1966 beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für EUR 8.820,00 versteigert wurde.
