This artwork by Eugenio Gignous achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in November 2015. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work La chiesa dell'alpeggio sold for EUR 7,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,800.00. Admittedly, works by Eugenio Gignous have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View towards the Piazetta, Venice in April 2001 with an auction result of GBP 25,850.00 (€ 41,673.44).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Eugenio Gignous erzielte im November 2015 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wurde die Arbeit La chiesa dell'alpeggio für EUR 7.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugenio Gignous auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View towards the Piazetta, Venice im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.850,00 (€ 41.673,44).
