Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Four Works (Abstracted Figures in Blue; Three Figures on Yellow with Exaggerated Features; Three Forms on Brown; Three Abstracted Figures on Brown and Yellow), mid 1950s by Eugène Gabritschevsky was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD Admittedly, works by Eugène Gabritschevsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (3) in September 2018 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Four Works (Abstracted Figures in Blue; Three Figures on Yellow with Exaggerated Features; Three Forms on Brown; Three Abstracted Figures on Brown and Yellow), mid 1950s von Eugène Gabritschevsky im Januar 2021 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
