Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre - 1976 by Eugène Dodeigne was sold in the 20th Century Art 1950 to present auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2018. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,800.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Dodeigne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Couple in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 93,750.00.

Die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1976 von Eugène Dodeigne wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion 20th Century Art 1950 to present bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.800,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Dodeigne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Couple im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 93.750,00.
