This artwork by Eugène Dodeigne achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2005. In the 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE auction, the work A Figure sold for EUR 3,600.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Dodeigne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Couple in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 93,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eugène Dodeigne erzielte im November 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE wurde die Arbeit A Figure für EUR 3.600,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Dodeigne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Couple im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 93.750,00.
