In December 2016 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Erection de cheminées by Eugène de Kermadec. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,000.00 54% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Eugène de Kermadec have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les Bras Couleur D'Aurore - 1939 in December 2019 with an auction result of EUR 23,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 54 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2016 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Erection de cheminées von Eugène de Kermadec zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.000,00 und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugène de Kermadec auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les Bras Couleur D'Aurore - 1939 im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.400,00.
