Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Eske Kath for DKK 1,650.00 (€ 1,442.06). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Eske Kath have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, 2019 in June this year with an auction result of DKK 92,000.00 (€ 12,350.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Eske Kath für DKK 1.650,00 (€ 1.442,06) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eske Kath auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, 2019 im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 92.000,00 (€ 12.350,92).
