The auction ended at the price of SEK 30,000.00 (€ 3,424.38), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Erik Tryggelin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Vasagatan (Stockholm)", which sold at auction in June 2014 for SEK 120,000.00 (€ 13,104.46).
