It achieved a price of DKK 21,000.00 (€ 2,817.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Erik Hoppe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Forest scenery, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 7,500.00 (€ 6,554.80).

Die Arbeit View from a park with figures von Erik Hoppe wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von DKK 21.000,00 (€ 2.817,05) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Für andere Arbeiten von Erik Hoppe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Forest scenery beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 7.500,00 (€ 6.554,80) versteigert wurde.
