This artwork by Erik Dietman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in November 2016. In the Michel Fedoroff Collection auction, the work Le Proverbe Turc (Variation Sur Un Theme) - 1988-98 sold for EUR 5,850.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erik Dietman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Philosophe Corse Et Ses Amis, 1993 in December 2010 with an auction result of EUR 93,478.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Erik Dietman erzielte im November 2016 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Michel Fedoroff Collection wurde die Arbeit Le Proverbe Turc (Variation Sur Un Theme) - 1988-98 für EUR 5.850,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erik Dietman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Philosophe Corse Et Ses Amis, 1993 im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 93.478,00.
