Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Eric Fischl could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Discovery on Sunset auction, the work Digging Kids changed hands for USD 192.00 (€ 176.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eric Fischl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Old Man's Boat and the Old Man's Dog in May last year with an auction result of USD 4,140,000.00 (€ 3,857,981.55).
