The »bidding war« ended at EUR 16,740.00 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Enrico Coleman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Italian the Skirmish sold at auction in April 2017 with the realized price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,656.72).
