Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ennio Morlotti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in June last year. In the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part I auction, the work Campo di granoturco (Paesaggio) sold for EUR 75,600.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ennio Morlotti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Collina a Imbersago (Paesaggio con figure), which sold at auction in November this year for EUR 160,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ennio Morlotti erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part I wurde die Arbeit Campo di granoturco (Paesaggio) für EUR 75.600,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ennio Morlotti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Collina a Imbersago (Paesaggio con figure) beobachtet, die im November diesen Jahres für EUR 160.000,00 versteigert wurde.
