This artwork by Edouard-Léon-Louis Legrand achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Marrakech in December 2020. In the A Moroccan Winter Majorelle & his contemporaries Modern & Contemporary Moroccan and International Art auction, the work Paysage animé sold for MAD 364,000.00 (€ 31,846.28) - well above the upper estimate of MAD 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edouard-Léon-Louis Legrand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Tikka, L'Heure Du Thé in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 378,494.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Edouard-Léon-Louis Legrand erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Artcurial in Marrakesch einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion A Moroccan Winter Majorelle & his contemporaries Modern & Contemporary Moroccan and International Art wurde die Arbeit Paysage animé für MAD 364.000,00 (€ 31.846,28) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von MAD 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edouard-Léon-Louis Legrand erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Tikka, L'Heure Du Thé im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 378.494,00.
