Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Enfants Des Souks, Marrakech by Edouard-Léon-Louis Legrand was sold in the Majorelle & his Contemporaries auction at Artcurial in Marrakech in December 2021. It changed hands for a price of MAD 416,000.00 (€ 39,328.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of MAD 330,000.00 – 440,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edouard-Léon-Louis Legrand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Tikka, L'Heure Du Thé in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 378,494.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Enfants Des Souks, Marrakech von Edouard-Léon-Louis Legrand wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Majorelle & his Contemporaries bei Artcurial in Marrakesch versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von MAD 416.000,00 (€ 39.328,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von MAD 330.000,00 – 440.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edouard-Léon-Louis Legrand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Tikka, L'Heure Du Thé im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 378.494,00.
