However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward Adrian Wilson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The sledge party to White Island, February 1902: Shackleton, Wilson and Ferrar preparing to set out; Shackleton and Wilson making camp, which sold at auction in September 2007 for GBP 22,100.00 (€ 31,689.77).
