Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of a young man, profile by Edvard Weie for DKK 7,000.00 (€ 937.93). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edvard Weie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady with a parasol (Christiansø), 1930s in December this year with an auction result of DKK 350,000.00 (€ 46,953.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of a young man, profile von Edvard Weie für DKK 7.000,00 (€ 937,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edvard Weie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lady with a parasol (Christiansø), 1930s im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 350.000,00 (€ 46.953,53).
