Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Boulevard de la Madeleine, Paris by Édouard Cortès for SEK 28,000.00 (€ 2,788.55). This price was achieved in the auction Important Winter Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Édouard Cortès achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boulevard in Montmartre, Paris in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 73,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Boulevard de la Madeleine, Paris von Édouard Cortès für SEK 28.000,00 (€ 2.788,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Winter Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Édouard Cortès erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boulevard in Montmartre, Paris im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 73.000,00.
