Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs, which included the work A country ride by Doris Zinkeisen. It changed hands for a price of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,412.70) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Doris Zinkeisen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Mrs Sanders Watney in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,752.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit A country ride von Doris Zinkeisen zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.412,70) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Doris Zinkeisen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Mrs Sanders Watney im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.752,75).
