Auction result fails to reach estimate
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Skov X” by Doris Bloom for DKK 4,000.00 (€ 536.58). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 6,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Doris Bloom - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled, two compositions, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 2,100.00 (€ 1,835.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Skov X” von Doris Bloom für DKK 4.000,00 (€ 536,58) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Doris Bloom mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled, two compositions beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 2.100,00 (€ 1.835,34) versteigert wurde.
