Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Böttiger Collection H067, which included the work "Bird" by Donald Baechler. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 155,000.00 (€ 13,126.89). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Donald Baechler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Conversazione in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 171,382.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Böttiger Collection H067 durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Bird" von Donald Baechler zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 155.000,00 (€ 13.126,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Donald Baechler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Conversazione im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 171.382,56).
