Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still life of mixed flowers and a white bowl by Dod Procter was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,395.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dod Procter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Girl with a Parrot in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 140,500.00 (€ 198,103.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still life of mixed flowers and a white bowl von Dod Procter kam im Dezember 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.395,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dod Procter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Girl with a Parrot im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 140.500,00 (€ 198.103,24).
